Matteo Prezioso es un fotógrafo profesional independiente nacido en Italia. Vive y trabaja en Bogotá, Colombia. Ha trabajado principalmente en América del Norte (Estados Unidos: Los Ángeles, San Diego, Nueva York), Europa (Inglaterra, Bélgica, Grecia, Italia), y ahora América del Sur (Colombia, Ecuador). Ha estudiado fotografía en Italia y en los EE.UU. (Los Ángeles), ciudad donde consiguió sus primeros trabajos como fotógrafo de foto fija, estableciendo su original estilo visual en innumerables producciones cinematográficas independientes. Algo que ha seguido haciendo en Londres, Inglaterra, ciudad donde ha trabajado también como director de fotografía y operador de cámara. Lento pero seguro, volvió a la fotografía a tiempo completo; en la actualidad trabaja en foto periodismo, retrato, editoriales. Es también docente de fotografía. Favorece la fotografía análoga sobre su contraparte digital. Prefiere que la imagen, cualquier sea, hable por si misma. En el 2014 ha ganado el concurso de fotografía organizado por el “Polo Bibliotecario Ferrarese” En el mismo año ha exhibido en L’Aquila, Italia, como parte de un colectivo de fotógrafos para la exposición: “L’Aquila (Ferrara, Italia.): Magnitud Año 0” (recaudación de fondos para las víctimas del terremoto de 2009).♦
